The BedRug "is the way". I only have the bed BedRug on my Frontier. I had the full cover BedRug on my 07 Tundra. Invincible!

I had bedrug on my previous truck for ten years, it looked almost new when I sold it.

Really saves your knees when you get into truck to load or unload... But I do have a camper shell. Not sure how well it'll do without the shell, but it's supposed to be plastic carpet type and able to withstand the elements...

I had a full Bedrug in my 2005 DC with a Retrax cover and loved it.

Since my 2014 had an OEM spray-in bedliner I bought the Bedrug bed and separate tailgate mat.
I have an Undercover Flex bed cover.
    I wouldn't have a pickup without a Bedrug.
Also, have one swing case with no problems..

Others have said it and I'll reiterate. Bedrug is the way. I have the tailgate mat and the truckbed bedrug separate from one another. When I bought it I didn't do enough research and if I did it again I'd go xlt. As far as needles, sand, hauling logs and other various forms of debris just rinse it out with a hose if you care. I've never vacuumed mine nor care to. Every time I crawl in the truck I'm happy. When I loaf things in the back they stay put and don't slide around. And the weight is next to nothing.

Depends on what you’re doing…I’m a hunter so I’m washing blood out all the time. I went with the $99 Rough Country mat and it’s worth every penny, really heavy duty. At my door in a day with Amazon
