    2023 Toyota Tundra 1794 Edition
Just picked up this 2023 Tundra in smoked mesquite paired with the 1794 package. When I drove by my local Toyota dealer, I saw this one on the front line and had to make a stop. When looking into the details, I realized this truck only had 13000 miles and was 15k less than a new 2024 1794 model. After test driving I was sold, so out went my 2021 Chevy Silverado and in came this beauty.

I did not know that smoked mesquite was an uncommon color, and also did not know the 1794 edition was limited to 1500 units.

Any insight into the truck and or comments are welcome20240327_171952.jpg

    Nice looking truck!

There is a special 1794 Limited Edition model due in dealers later this month that is limited to 1500 units, but the regular 1794 model is not necessarily limited in production numbers. The biggest difference between the regular 1794 and the 1794 Limited Edition is the leather used in the interior and the suspension is upgraded with Fox shocks like the TRD Pro.

Smoked mesquite is a very uncommon color! Happy I have one as well, mine is a limited though. Good looking truck. As the posted above stated, the 1794 you purchased is not the limited edition with the saddleback leather company leather, those are hitting dealers now and close to 80k sticker price! But either way it’s a sweet truck and you will love the power. Welcome to the forum.

My 1794 LE is supposed to be here this week. I’m getting wind chill pearl but I wanted the smoked mesquite. Love that color

    None yet ;-)
Ordered a 1794 longbox in Mesquite in Aug 2022. Still not a word from the dealer. Apparently the longbox is the Achilles Heel of this order. I have an "Insider" in the auto industry who did a Canada-wide search and could only find two in the entire country. Both were spoken for. Apparently the mesquite longbox 1794 is more rare than a Bugatti :p

Not a 1794 but a smoked mesquite with the 6.5 bed. This was even a tough find and still haven’t seen another smoked mesquite in my area. And 6.5 bed is real tough to find for some reason.

I am not trying to be rude, but I have to ask, how is brown a beautiful color? There are just certain colors that remind me of "other things". To each their own I guess, but I don't get the attraction to brown.

Everyone has different tastes but my co-workers jab me all the time with the 'poop' mobile comments.

I just smile knowing they secretly want one :)

Have you actually seen one? Pictures sometimes do not show how nice it is. Have seen a lot of pictures that make it look like poop. But when it’s cleaned up and sun hits it right it is awesome

Yours doesn’t sparkle? Maybe you’re doing it wrong.

And yes, I’ve seen one in person, in the sun. Just not a fan. Then again, I have bright flaming orange, many don’t care for my taste either.

When I was shopping Tundra, had not considered brown until I saw one up close, then was hooked. The metallic pop was incredible. Same goes for blueprint, not a fan from distance but up close - wow. Have had several folks comment they thought it was black until up close then they fell in love.

I know the blacks and gray have metallic, it's doesn't pop the same.

It's a color that needs the right light, then it's spectacular.

My has Tundra has been referred to as a "gentleman's truck" as its not "hey look at me" flashy, yet spectacular once near it.

I really like the smoked mesquite...seems appropriate for 1794 trim...I once painted an El Camino in "candy root beer" pretty much the same color with a lot of candy and flake in it...got lots of compliments...congrats!

BONUS POINTS! My brown "other things" color truck also has a T(u)RD sticker on it too!

The color definitely isn’t for everyone that’s for sure. But it’s so refreshing having a color truck that not many other people have. Had a ton of different color cars but I got tired of seeing grey, black, white, everywhere I go. Never owned a brown vehicle before but when I saw the truck online I thought it was awesome! Plus the nightshade package was a nice touch. I have still yet to see another smoked mesquite on the road. Around me everyone seems to go with the neutral colors or lunar rock. And I used to love lunar rock, but it’s way over done at this point.

It reminds me of "rootbeer" as well. The only other brown I've ever liked was on '56 Chevy's; they had an original paint that--if I recall correctly--was a metallic enamel. The Smoked Mesquite has the same appeal to me.

I think of it more as a "Root Beer" color which IMO is beautiful. I also have always liked the 1794 interior, really gorgeous as well.

    Nice Tundra!

toyota really needs to stop with the flares that color, just looks out of place.

does anyone have a full color match one and chrome delete, like to see what that looks like

Are you asking about the fender flares or just in general? I have a photo somewhere of Smoked Mesquite that another member posted but just in general, not the flares.
