I have the new Falken Wildpeak AT4W in 275/65r18 SL. No way I was going with the LT versions since they ride rougher and heavier in general (they tried to talk me into it). The SL is heavy enough (48.6 lbs) and drop fuel economy a little. Wanted the 3w but that will be discontinued.

Whenever I hit a bump on the road, the steering wheel shakes and seemingly follows the direction of the bump. It does not do this with every bump (mostly middle/large sized bumps) even when I went over railroad tracks, the wheel moved side to side. When I go off road, especially on rocky surfaces, the steering wheel shakes. There’s no suspension noise and the ride quality is good on the smoother roads of course (and not bad on tiny/small bumps). I took it in and the mechanic said everything is tight. I’m still confused as my truck feels unstable on certain bumpy roads. The tires been rebalanced too since the tire shop didn’t do it properly the first time and they vibrated at first, vibration is gone. Not here to complain, as I love my truck, just want to keep’er right :)

My twenty twelve tund has been doing that for years. But it is really intermittent. It does not do it all the time. I have yet to figure out what the heck is causing it. I've had it up on a lift.Multiple times and nothing seems to be wrong.

Sway bar links, maybe. I used to have replace them on most of my cars eventually. Not the truck though, I never noticed an issue with mine and everything is still stock except for shocks and struts 6112.
