Not sure where it says that. Just going by those that had permanent 60psi mod.
Post a pic of what it says in Toyota manual to remove relay?
Edit: I see the confusion from the previous post!

Also going off this, the prong that needs to be grounded is facing the front of the truck right? Not towards the rear

    Just to clear things up.
If you remove the relay you will need to jumper wire pin 3 and 5.
    Screenshot_20240501_192853.jpg

Or keep the relay and wrap a grounding wire on the leg shown. This will ground it out at key on. Both do the same thing. You have to attach the other end to the body so it grounds out.
    Screenshot_20240501_193307.jpg
Then test to see if it stays at 60 psi and better, richer afr's at wot or shifting. Whichever gave you lean condition.

Gonna try it. So is the grounded wire on the tab that’s facing the front of the truck or the rear? Just so I don’t mess anything up

Make a jumper wire for vsv fuel pump relay.
    20240501_193821.jpg
Plug it in the where the 2 copper colored prongs go.
    Screenshot_20240501_195226.jpg
    20240501_194934.jpg
Turn key on and you should hear your pump on. Start and verify pressure and test drive.

And if I were to keep the relay and ground the prong, is it the prong facing towards the front of the truck?

    Yes.
    Screenshot_20240501_195943.jpg
Then ground the other end to ground point.

Magnuson has you remove the relay so it stays in 45psi mode all the time. They tell you not to run the supercharger on E85, so no need for it to switch pressures for "flex fuel".

Seems like it would be better to include a jumper and have it at 60psi all the time, but they probably figured that 45psi is enough for the stock pulley on their canned tune.

Ok. Before thinking of fuel pump. Have you tried boost referencing? Hook your boost port up to the fuel pressure regulator.
Other FFV members will ground relay and boost reference. In all honesty the supercharger manufacturers should recommend boost referenced. Only one does, Whipple. It's worth a try.

Also. Can you hear the pump click on with key on not start?

I only hear a click when I put the relay in and out. Not when I touch it to a ground. Also did boost reference. Made AFRs a tad richer but still losing pressure.

Last thing before suggesting a different pump would be to make the jumper wire without using relay.
As I stated earlier @e30cabrio battled fuel pump pressure issues with the walbro 450 for a while. He is FFV too.
He installed the deatswerks dw300 fuel pump and it solved his issues. He has the fuel line mod and grounded relay with boost referencing.
    Just a thought...

Is it technically the same as grounding the relay or does this do something else?

It does...but removes relay so it's a direct ground. No chance of any outside interference.

Found a leak in the OUT line in my fuel canister. Replaced it, no more leaks. AFRs are better but fuel pressure dropping to about 43 still which is what non flex guys are running so it’s tunable but wondering why it’s dropping like that.

That's good. Did you try the jumper wire method besides the relay ground?

    @ARES35 @e30cabrio anymore input?
Last item could be the fuel pump. Lots switch to dw300. Be it the pump install or wiring causing it to lose psi.

Can't speak on other FP's, still run the stock FFV pump. Boost reference and the jumper with 750 injectors A/F is pretty consistent. Only other thing I should mention is I do reset fuel density alot, almost every fill up to keep consistency.
