Shit at this point I'd almost be tempted just to spin that fitting out of my old one and swap it into the new one.

I got screwed on that. The original rad and the new ones are different style. That's why the dealer got to charge me labor to pull out my rad and then put it right back in when they found out the fittings were different during my frame swap.

@Teutonics this is very odd for a rockauto shipment. I had this issue when I tried to order from Amazon. When I ordered from Rockauto everything was fine. Maybe 3rd times the charm?

Plot twist: The delivery driver is pissed at OP for having a really cool 1st Gen Tundra and keeps jumping up and down on the box to sabotage his truck.

I swear, here in ATL hubs, I swear some folks handling packages make it a game to jump up and down on boxes. I've had the worst problems with FedEx Ground. Only had it happen once with Home Depot. Probably 15 years ago, I was trying to save a guy on another truck forum some $$ on an expensive computer repair and data recovery. He DHL'ed it over to me, it came perfectly intact. I recovered his data, repaired the system, and re-packed it identically, then sent it back. It arrived looking like a 300-400lb person used it as a stepping stool.

Computer case caved in on the sides, plastics cracked up, it was demolished. Went to the UPS store I shipped it through, across the street. They picked up the damaged package, claimed "insufficient packing" (it was an the manufacturers OEM box for the case, case wrapped in foam), and refused the claim. Basically told me to stuff it. I felt bad for the dude, at least got UPS to return the package. Fortunately, I had a data backup, and was able to source a bunch of used parts to put it back together with only $150 in expenses, I covered rebuilding, and had him kick me a DHL label for return.

I wrote off UPS for more than a decade over that bullshit, and setup a DHL account. When DHL closed up shop, I switched to FedEx. Got boned every 3rd or 4th shipment w/FedEx, so went to USPS. USPS had the lowest issues, and always handed over full insured value on claims without question or issue. I only recently started using UPS again at the turn of 2020 because there's no convenient USPS PO near me. All has been OK thus far. FedEx still provides the same garbage service with delays/damage/lost packages though.

Yep, welcome to a normal day in my life.

Yeah, I thought the same and pulled the old barbs out to swap over. Completely different. I think the new design may be better in preventing the pink milkshake? (not sure on that though)

The THIRD radiator is supposed to arrive tomorrow. Stay tuned...
