    Flush Tees are labeled for hose sizes and the clamp quality is good so they tighten withough slipping or loosening. Keep in mind that after flushing with hose water to fill the system with distilled water and run for a little then drain it all out so as to get rid of any minerals from the hose water.

    The product looked like it had been previously opened. However, all the parts seem to be there. I have used these before and if you want to really flush the cooling system, this is the item to do it with.

    Note: The first one I had in this car started leaking and shattered when I attempted to take it off the hose. It had been on the car for fourteen years. So, if you plan to keep and run anything you put it on, I would suggest changing it at least once every ten years. They don't last forever, but they come close.

    Have not been able to use it for a flush yet, will be trying that soon but I did install it and I may be an isolated case but i had leaking out from under the clamps ( yes they were tight, no not too tight and no it wasnt cracked). Luckily I have some "Right Stuff" gasket maker, a little bit of that on either side behind the lip, slide hoses on, clamp, wait 15 mins, retighten, and no more leaks! so now we will see how she does on a flush but I saw how bad my hose was inside so I will be changing my hoses anyhow. MAybe that caused my leak, I dont know, but the product seems solid

    Used this product to do a full system flush on my 2000 Buick LeSabre equipped with a 3800 series 2 V6. I cut into the heater hose near the back of the engine, slipped the adapter on, opened the rad cap and hooked the hose up to the adapter. It worked great and flushed all the old Dex-cool coolant out. I even managed to refill some of the system by pumping some of the new coolant into the adapter.
    After everything was finished and the rad was filled with new fluid, I put the cap (that came with the kit) on the adapter and have left it since. It's been over two weeks, have had coolant temps as high as 230 degrees, no sign of any leaks whatsoever from the adapter, it appears to be holding up great. If you have the general know-how and a few basic tools, would definitely recommend. It will make future flushes and refills far easier and faster now.
